My goodness I do not have a picture of the burger I ate and im about to give big back energy but I ran across the street during my break at the hospital and had their El Rey burger… I went back and split it with my coworker and each bite we took we were raving about how delicious it was. You can taste the different flavor profiles. The peppers, the brisket everything exquisite it’s a burger but you can taste the culture too hands down one of my favorite burgers moving forward. Im going to try their pizza next, they told me about one the drizzle honey on top and my taste buds are screaming that they need to try it. 10/10 I recommend.

I had an amazing experience here! The service was outstanding from start to finish, friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The burger was absolutely incredible, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The chips and salsa were just as impressive, fresh, crispy, and the salsa had the perfect kick. Everything came out quickly and tasted great. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others!

Tried this place for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! The service was top notch, Chris took really good care of us and recommended the best drink on the menu. I will be back soon to try other menu items.

Fantastic experience. Chris the server was genuinely friendly and very accommodating. The (free) chips and homemade tomatillo salsa were excellent and a nice touch. Drinks were fairly priced and super tasty. Food was delicious and the owners came to our table afterward to offer us free samples of their amazing brick oven pizza which apparently they serve on weekends. Washrooms were huge and spotless. The place itself is spacious and has a very cool layout, with an honest pool table in back that even has its own signature rack triangle and plenty of decent sticks. Fancy! And kudos to whoever chose the background music...well done! Definitely going back.

Ended up going here for lunch. Ended up ordering some wings and a burger which the wings where delicious. And the burger was even Better. The Service was great. Had no complaints. If you do get a chance to go try the burger. el rey Burger.

Just checked out this place and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and well thought-out, and the staff makes you feel taken care of without being overbearing. The food was the real standout everything came out fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell a lot of pride went into both the menu and the execution. Portions were solid, presentation was on point, and nothing felt rushed. It’s always dope seeing friends put their heart into something and actually deliver, and this restaurant does exactly that. Definitely adding this spot to my regular rotation and recommending it to anyone looking for a great meal and a good vibe, thank you Chris!

Don't walk, run to El Rey in Berwyn Restaurant! The experience was top-tier from start to finish. The service was genuinely attentive and welcoming. Their bar program is just as strong; they offer refreshing, inventive twists on classic cocktails that truly impress. The undisputed star of the menu is the El Rey Burger: perfectly cooked, incredibly high-quality, and hands-down one of the greatest tasting burgers I've ever had. Five stars, highly recommend! Chris served us and was amazing.Will come again.

If you’re looking for the best restaurant in Berwyn, look no further! El Rey is an absolute must-visit, hidden gem just outside of Chicago. The menu is fresh, comprehensive, and ever-changing as they test new recipes. I tried the fish sandwich, and it was perfectly cooked with super fresh toppings and sauces (a horseradish/vodka ketchup and tartar sauce). For dessert, i had the Dubai chocolate strawberries. They were amaaaazing! Rich, decadent, and beautifully presented. Every dish at El Rey is delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, and the owners are some of the nicest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Their passion for food and hospitality really shows. Whether you’re searching for a top-rated Berwyn restaurant, amazing lunch or dinner options, or unique dessert ideas, El Rey delivers on every level. Get in fast, while it’s still a hidden gem! When this gets discovered, it will be hard to get a table.

Hidden gem in Berwyn . Food is fantastic, service...above and beyond! Happened to stop in for a birthday celebration on Valentine's day of all days. The owner's, 2 young brothers have created some to definitely I had to share with everyone!
